Who can join

Mopar Connection is a single marquee club. Membership is restricted to owners and their partners of Chrysler Corporation (Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto, Chrysler) vehicles. Most of the existing members' vehicles are pre-1981, whether Australian or American, although the club welcomes any of the "modern classics" also ie, Vipers, Prowlers. Existing membership includes a range of Mopars from 'fifties vehicles to some of the more modern Valiants. (Specifics on entry criteria are documented in the club charter and constitution.)

What does it cost

Membership is $50.00 per annum per owner and $20.00 extra for a partner member. We have partial fees for new members who join during the year - paying only half the annual fee when signing up in the second part of our year, then starting with the full fee at the next AGM which is held in June.

Those wishing to join up who live outside the greater Wellington area need only send an application form and fees - membership being granted after having been put to the members at the next scheduled club meeting (meetings are held every 6 weeks). Those living in Wellington may send a completed application form only and should attend 2 club meetings before being considered for membership at which point fees will be taken.

What do you get for your fees

The membership fee will mostly cover the cost of the magazine, so that your dollar keeps you up to date with upcoming events and documents the runs you've been on. Most events are run on a user-pays basis, although expense is kept to a minimum so that everyone comes along. Where possible the club will subsidise to lower the cost of event participation.
